Unique Personal Brands
Not all personal brands are tied to a single human individual.
On PassionStocks, we recognize and support the rise of unique personal brands—those that challenge traditional definitions of identity. These personal brands might include:
- A couple, such as a boyfriend and girlfriend managing content together
- A family sharing a joint personal brand presence
- A pet, like a dog or cat with a popular social media following
- An AI-generated persona or character
- A fictional or animated identity
- A creator who chooses to remain anonymous
These are all valid forms of personal branding. In a world where influence extends beyond individual faces, PassionStocks aims to provide the tools and flexibility for these types of creators to grow and monetize their unique personal brand presence.
Our Current Approach
At this stage, PassionStocks does not impose specific rules or restrictions on what qualifies as a personal brand. We welcome experimentation and diversity. Whether your personal brand is a talking cat, a dynamic couple, or an anonymous page with a strong message—we’re building to support you.
That said, as we evolve, we are working on clearer guidelines for verifying ownership, resolving disputes, and ensuring transparency. Our recommendation today is simple:
If you are part of a shared or unconventional personal brand—have internal conversations early. Decide how you want to handle earnings, visibility, and long-term ownership. In the future, PassionStocks will provide (through licensed third-parties) built-in options to split revenue, assign shares, and clarify ownership between multiple parties.
Selling Shoutouts as a Unique Personal Brand
You can start selling shoutouts right away, even if:
- You’re operating as a duo, group, or brand team
- Your identity isn’t public
- Your personal brand is non-human or anonymous
The only thing that may limit you is if another party files a dispute or ownership claim. In that case, PassionStocks will assess the situation and may require proof of control or identity.
Withdrawing Funds & Identity Verification
Although you can sell anonymously on PassionStocks, withdrawing your earnings might require verification through our payment provider, Stripe.
- Stripe handles all payments, identity checks, and fund transfers
- If you don’t want to use your real identity, consider setting up a legal entity or nominating a verified individual and make sure it's complaint with Stripe's T's & C's.
If verification is not completed, you may not be able to access your earnings.
Planning Ahead for IPO or Investment
If you eventually want to list your personal brand on the stock exchange or raise capital through investors, you’ll need to go through a due diligence process. At that stage:
- Ownership clarity is essential—especially for brands with multiple participants or non-traditional identities
- You’ll likely be asked to prove rights, structure, and revenue attribution
For now, you don’t need to wait to start selling shoutouts. But if you’re aiming for long-term growth and asset valuation, start thinking about structure early.
Bottom line
PassionStocks supports a wide range of personal brand types—human or not. If your personal brand connects with a real audience, we’re here to help you monetize and grow it. As the platform evolves, more tools and guidance will be introduced to support unique and shared personal brands.
